Patient
A former patient has kindly given their account of their experience when they visited the Mould room.
Purpose:
I was referred by my oncologists for Chemotherapy for treatment of a brain tumour.
Experience:
I had had the making of the shell explained to me previously when I met the treatment team and was taken to the mould room. I wasn't bothered at all about having it made. The mould-maker was very pleasant and efficient. Air holes were left for my nose so I did not feel any discomfort during making of the mould (a mask made of papier mache).
